Vu Trinh is certified as a criminal law specialist by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. There are over 220,000 attorneys licensed to practice law in California, but only 358 are certified as criminal law specialists. Mr. Trinh also serves as commissioner of the Criminal Law Advisory Commission to the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. He has a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine, and received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1992, and was admitted to the California State Bar that same year.

Mr. Trinh began his law career in the criminal justice system as an Assistant Public Defender in Orange County where he became one of the youngest attorneys to make felony panel. He is a trial attorney with over 20 years of experience in both the State and Federal criminal justice system. He has handled cases ranging from reckless driving and DUI’s to murder.

Grant Bettencourt

Grant Bettencourt, Partner

Grant graduated from Chapman University School of Law with an emphasis in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution, focusing on courtroom litigation. His areas of practice include criminal defense and general litigation matters.

Grant has gathered his experience in the field of criminal law by working for The Office of the California Attorney General, The Orange County District Attorney’s Office, The Orange County Public Defender’s Office, and clerking for a Superior Court Judge.  Grant has experience handling cases ranging from DUI’s and Drug Possession to more serious felonies like Armed Robbery.

 

 

 

 

 

Quan Trinh

Quan Trinh, Office Administrator

Quan has a B.S. In Biochemistry from UC Riverside. He received his J.D. from Chapman University School of Law with a focus in Immigration Law, Refugee and Asylum Law, Immigration and Crime, Elder Law, and Family Violence.

Quan Trinh is fluent in Vietnamese and has served as an administrator, interpreter, and paralegal for attorney, Vu Trinh, since 2003.
